Just the Perfect Bible for 4 to 8 Year Olds!

Just the Perfect Bible for 4 to 8 year old children.

I have just come up on a wonderful Bible that is most impressive to the little children that I teach.  Ernie and Debbie Rettino have done an excellent job with the NIV translation of Psalty’s Kid’s Bible.

Psalty, the famous Singing Song Book, is known for his lively teachings and songs that teach and praise God and Jesus.  Now he teaches the same lessons to our 4 to 8 year olds, plus many more Bible stories.  To hold the children’s attention there are 48 lively, colorful illustrations.

If you are looking for something to fill your child’s heart and soul with the bread of life, this is the Kids Bible that you will want to put into their hands.

leather Bible cover

If you carry your Bible around a lot, invest in a leather Bible cover. In browsing around you can certainly begin to see the variety of beautiful Bible covers in both genuine and imitation leather. Some covers offer a pen or pencil holder and interior pockets to hold a notepad or handouts.

Bible covers are great to help ensure your bible stays bound and will improve the durability through the wear of everyday life.

Is Grandma Hard to Shop For?

Monday, August 25, 2008
large print Bibles

My grandmother celebrated her 88th birthday today, and as she gets older she takes more and more comfort from attending church and studying her Bible. As most elderly people do, however, it strains her eyes more and more to read.

Her special day made me think about large print Bibles as gifts for elderly Christians. Most elderly people I have known have been very difficult to shop for. I asked my grandmother what she wanted for her birthday, and she said what she always does: “Oh, I don’t need anything.” Now I realize, a large print Bible would have been a wonderful gift for her! Well, Christmas is coming…

Lacking Time to Read Your Bible

Wednesday, August 13, 2008

nkjv-whole-audio-biblez_997585.jpg

Do you find yourself running out of time to read your Bible? I have found that the Audio Bibles really help me solve that problem. As I’m driving down the road I just pop a CD in my CD player. I enjoy the New King James Version narrated by Stephen Johnson, but there are many other narrators. The readings are word-for-word as in the written Bible.

Why not enjoy hearing the Bible while you are on the go? Using the New King James Version is faithful to the accuracy and beauty of the King James Version. Hearing the New King James Version in the contemporary and understandable language will feed your soul with spiritual food no matter when or where you listen to God’s Word.

Feeling tired and need refreshment? God’s word in the New King James Version narration will refresh you as you listen and unwind from a hectic day.

The NiRV version of the Kids Devotional Bible is the easy reading version designed by Zondervan’s Kinderkids for feeding and enriching their souls. My children have found that getting into God’s word is fun and exciting. They can find definitions of unfamiliar words in the dictionary that is contained in the Bible. Easy to Read Relavent for Today

Sunday, July 20, 2008

the-new-living-bible-autoresizeimg.png

With some translations, it is hard to understand what the message is, but it is not with the New Living Translation. The last time that I was studying the New Living Translation, I forgot that I was reading the Bible because it sounded to me as if some one was telling me a story in today’s language.

Another reason that I appreciate the New Living Bible is that, when I am online with the daily devotional, I stay on track with God’s Word as it feeds my soul with the Bread of Life.

I appreciate the New Living Bible because this translation speaks to me in my language. The translators that worked on this fresh and inviting Bible not only have been faithful to original texts, but they have brought the Living Word of God to us in yours and my language as we remember the poetry and power of the Scriptures from our childhood. As I read the New Living Translation, I find God as my Friend.
